Cris Cyborg Looks Impressive Sparring Gold Medalist Pro Boxer Claressa Shields

Cris Cyborg and Claressa Shields both recently posted images together on social media and Cris posted some video of them sparring.
This is pretty cool with all the talk going on about MMA vs boxing, ahead of the Mayweather McGregor fight coming up on August 26.
Who Is Claressa Shields?
Claressa is a two time Olympic Gold Medalist, winning gold in the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games.
She is currently a pro boxer with a record of 3-0. She is undoubtedly one of the top pound for pound female boxers, even if she isn’t on some of the lists out there, some of which are outdated.
And as Cyborg noted, Shields is the only American (male or female) to win Olympic Gold twice!
The sparring was quite impressive. Both looked good, but especially Cyborg, going against such a high level boxer, and they were throwing down. Claressa also looks very sharp in her boxing skills with some quick hands:

It’s great to see someone like Cris Cyborg training with someone so good at her craft, and also hanging in there pretty good. I also personally like the crossing over of MMA and boxing, as there is a bit of a divide there, though with the aforementioned fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor, there are lots of talks about both sports, and I suspect there will be more and more crossing over, both for training, and actual sanctioned fights.
Just this past weekend, Heather Hardy, a pro boxer with a 20-0 record won her first fight at Bellator 180 at Madison Square Garden.
