The Benefits of Pure CBD Oil

If you have been hearing about CBD oil and it’s benefits, I’m here today to hopefully shed some light on the facts vs. the myths.  As more States allow legalized Cannabis use, we’re seeing oils, tinctures, edibles, and many more forms of it being sold at retail stores.

What are the Benefits of CBD Oil?

CBD, which is the abbreviation for Cannabidoil, is one of over 100 cannabinoids you can find in cannabis.  There has been a lot of talk about the medicinal uses of it lately, especially with the aforementioned legality of it spreading throughout the USA.

Not only is does it sport therapeutic properties, but it’s also non-psychoactive, meaning you won’t get that “high feeling” like you would with other forms.  This makes it safe for consumption among a much more broad spectrum of patients, because many people do not want the mind-altering side effects that come with THC use.

The dominant oils are called CBD oils.  Depending on where you source your product, the concentrations found in each, as well as the ratio of CBD to THC will vary based on the manufacturer as well as the actual product.  With the health benefits improving the quality of life of the many users, it’s no wonder companies like Every Day Optimal CBD Oil are thriving.

5 Key Benefits in CBD Oils

I’ve identified five benefits that you should know about when it comes to how CBD oils can help make your life easier.

1.  Relieve Pain

This is a very important benefit that many people (including myself) are excited about.  The thought process here is that the CBD communicates with the receptors in the immune system and brain to help alleviate inflammation as well as pain.  It’s been proven studies involving mice and rats.  Read more about that here.

2. Anti-Seizure Properties

My brother has seizures, so this one hits close to home with me.  A seizure starts when there is a large fluctuation of “electrical activity” in the brain.  There exist many reports of CBD helping reduce this activity, although it’s more of an awareness campaign at this point in time without any long term, hard scientific reports supporting it.  Hopefully over time this becomes a more substantiated claim with medical proof.  The one ray of light here is that a New England Journal of Medicine report looked into adults with Dravet syndrome, a type of epilepsy, (seizures occur) – and the results of a test from CBD use provided a 38.9 percent dip in frequency of seizures.

3. Anxiety Treatment

This one is one I saw from years away.  Growing up, anyone who had ADD directly benefited from smoking weed.  In my circle of friends, at least.  There were always people who just needed it to calm the heck down.  A Brazilian study backs up this information.

4. Fight Cancer

The worst word in the world – cancer.  So far, studies are showing a positive sign that CBD may be able to help stop the spread of cancer cells in cervical cancer cells.

5. Lower Risk of Diabetes

This one is eye opening as well.  Diabetes testing was done on mice.  They were non-obese diabetes prone females.  Just 32% of the mice that received CBD were actually given the label “diabetic” vs. 100% that did not get the treatment.

To me, it’s super obvious that this should be here to stay. Hopefully, as more States legalize cannabis, we’ll hear more success stories and it will become mainstream.
