To prevent excess sugar and fat from building up in our bodies, the liver converts most of it into fat and stores it for later use. What CBD does is it triggers the ECS to boost the activity of our mitochondria.

You might be thinking that marijuana use makes you hungry, and this is true. But that’s as a result of THC and not CBD. Tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, stimulates the appetite but CBD oil has the reverse effect.

Among those reports is the belief that CBD can serve as an effective weight loss supplement.
When CBD consumption is combined with the right amount of exercise and diet, you can significantly reduce the fat stored in your body by increasing the rate at which it’s converted into energy.
But in truth, more research is needed when it comes to its impact on weight loss. However, giving it a go won’t hurt as it’s been declared safe by the WHO.
