How To Pass A Hair Follicle Drug Test
At present, a hair follicle drug test is considered to be more accurate than mouth swab or urine tests, the ones that used to be the most common tests for detection of drug use not so long ago.
The 411 on Hair Follicle Drug Testing
These days, more and more institutions are opting for a hair follicle test these days for a number of reasons:
- One is that this test is able to give more accurate and precise results.
- Secondly, it can detect a longer history of substance abuse as compared to other tests.
- Finally, there are far too many methods already discovered on how to beat a urine or a mouth swab test, whereas beating a hair follicle test is much more challenging and difficult.
However, if you are asked to take a hair test, this obviously means that a negative result can land you in a variety of troubles. It has become a norm with most big companies to request a hair drug test to their potential employees.
Which means that if you fail the test, you will certainly not be hired. In addition, depending on the result, you may even have to face some serious legal consequences. In short, if at any time you need to take a hair test, it is absolutely vital that you pass the test.
But, as we have already mentioned, it is a tall order to beat a hair follicle test.
First of all, the very moment you get to know you will be submitting to a follicle test, you must stop using right away whatever product that you are in the habit of using.
All hard drugs such as heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, ecstasy. etc. are of course out of the question, but so are all THC-based drugs such as marijuana, hash or any other cannabis product, besides perhaps CBD oil, which is only supposed to have traces of THC, or none at all.
For greater precautions, we suggest that you also stay away from any kind of prescription pills like Secobarbital, Xanax, Valium and others. Also, you must avoid all skin-to-skin contact with anybody who uses cannabis, since this sort of contact carries the risk of transferring cannabis metabolites on the cuticles of your hair.
Now, as to how you can detox your hair, first of all you must remember that detoxing hair demands some serious work on your part and also that detoxing hair can badly damage your hair, at least temporarily.
So, you will need to spend a good deal of time re-nourishing, rehydrating and conditioning your hair, both during your detox routine and afterwards.

You can also choose to go all-natural for the purpose of detoxing. This has the advantage that natural products will not only do no harm to your hair, but will actually improve its overall health.
However, on the downside, the natural methods are nowhere near as effective as other aggressive detox routines. And if you are a heavy consumer, you will more likely fail the test if you only rely on natural products to strip all traces of toxic substances of your hair.
So, let us look at the regimes which comes with a high success percentage.
The first thing you will need to do is obtain three different shampoos each of which serves a different purpose in your detox regime.
These shampoos are: Zydot Ultra-Clean Shampoo, Neutrogena T/Sal and Nexxus Aloe Rid.
The Zydot package contains, beside the shampoo, packets of specially formulated conditioner and purifier.
T/Sal contains salicylic acid which helps to remove all dirt and grease buildup from your hair. You can also use the Synergy detox shampoo in place of T/Sal, but the former is way more expensive than the Neutrogena product while offering little more in return. So, we would suggest you stick with T/Sal after all.
Nexxus Aloe Rid is the product which performs the real detoxifying functions as it gets rid of pollutants, medicines and other stressors from your hair. The shampoo is a common favorite with people looking to cheat a hair follicle test, but the price is quite steep—so make sure you buy it only from a reliable and legit merchant.

The Detox Regime
This is the detox regime that has proven to be most effective to date. There are others and some of them will cause less damage to your hair, but if you want to give yourself no margin (and you should not if you are anything but a very light consumer!), then this is the one to follow for you.
Start with massaging either apple cider vinegar or distilled white vinegar thoroughly across your hair and scalp. This will loosen the oils in your hair.
Wait for about fifteen minutes and then apply T/Sal gently on the scalp with the vinegar still in there. Use a pair of goggles to protect your eyes.
T/Sal contains salicylic acid and it shouldn’t come in any contact with the eyes. Once the shampoo is applied, make sure to thoroughly clean and wipe your face and the rest of your body.
Now, put a plastic shower cap over your hair and wait for thirty minutes and then carefully rinse the hair. Now is the time to apply the Aloe Rid Detox. Wash hair with this shampoo at least twice.
Once this is done, put the smallest gob of some liquid detergent (Tide should be a good choice) onto your hair, message it across the scalp and then rinse immediately.
Now, we had mentioned the Zydot shampoo earlier. This you can use as a substitute for the detergent. The purifier and the conditioner that come with the package will help you during the aftercare phase of the detox.
Alternatively, you can use a thick paste of vinegar and baking soda in place of the detergent. But none of the above is as effective as a detergent and since we are talking about the most foolproof method here, we would rather you used Tide!
Aftercare
Once the above process is complete, make sure to use your normal conditioner and let it stand on the hair for at least an hour and then carefully wash your hair.
For the next few days after the detox, you can use a variety of natural products—such as olive oil, egg yolk, honey, aloe vera gel, jojoba or avocado oil—regularly in order to minimize the damage from the detox.
