Try A Winning Diet With TB12 Performance Meals

Five-time Superbowl winner Tom Brady has been expanding his own health and fitness brand in recent years, and has now partnered with food delivery service Purple Carrot to develop his own range of high-performance meals and food products that are delivered straight to your door.

The TB12 brand (TB for Tom Brady and 12 for his number for the New England Patriots) has already been responsible for a healthy eating cookbook, based on recipes enjoyed at home by Brady and his wife, supermodel Gisele Bundchen, but the TB12 Performance Meals is the first time that the company has ventured into the lucrative and popular home-delivery market.

Getting to Know Purple Carrot

While Tom Brady and the TB12 brand may be a household name, Purple Carrot is probably less familiar. But the company has had a successful few years given the expansion of the food delivery market.

Purple Carrot provides plant-based foods and meals delivered in perfectly proportioned portions to your home so that you can cook them as and when you want to throughout the week — ideal if you want to ensure that you and the rest of the family can enjoy a healthy and nutritious meal even if you don’t have time to cook from scratch.

The Purple Carrot TB12 Performance Meals also contain plant-based ingredients to maximize nutrition and are also gluten-free and high in protein. The company also states that the meals will contain “limited” amounts of refined sugars and soy and will use no “highly-processed” ingredients.

While this does give Purple Carrot a little wiggle room in terms of using some processed foods in their TB12 Performance Meals, there are few home delivery services that can manage to be entirely free of processed ingredients simply because of the nature of delivery services which often require foods to be able to be kept fresh for longer.

Why Choose TB12 Performance Meals?

If Purple Carrot supplies its own range of home delivered meals, then why choose the TB12 range?

Well, these meals have all been inspired by Tom Brady’s own diet at home and while training — though the company makes it clear that the quarterback doesn’t use the meals subscription himself, but has a personal chef at home.

The TB12 Performance Meals are higher in protein than the regular Purple Carrot range, making them ideal for those who take part in a lot of physical activity or who play a lot of sports, or who may be recovering from an injury.

How Do You Subscribe to TB12 Performance Meals?

The TB12 Performance Meals will only be available via a subscription service when they first launch in April 2017. Although they work out as one of the more expensive food delivery services on the market, you are paying for the Tom Brady name and the nutritional expertise he has picked up throughout his long and successful career.

Brady fans will probably consider it worthwhile to pay $78 each week for three different meals.

Those three different meal options do contain two servings — ideal for couples who want to get fit and healthy together or you can always eat one serving for dinner and have the leftovers for lunch the next day.

The $78 total cost each week works out at $13 per portion — but you are paying for the convenience of having the meals prepared and delivered, as well as the Tom Brady brand.

Whether you choose to sign up for the Purple Carrot TB12 Performance Meals will depend on a number of factors; if you have the disposable income or the very busy lifestyle, which means that food delivery services are the best option for you; if you are willing to pay a little over normal market price to buy into the Tom Brady brand; and whether you need the high protein meals provided by the TB12 range.

If you can answer yes to all these, then the TB12 Performance Meals are a great option for you, and you won’t be disappointed with the quality or their performance, given the expertise and experience which has gone into their creation.
