In the post fight conference, Jeff Horn said that he has now climbed the Manny Pacquiao mountain, so to speak, after a controversial win over Manny Pacquiao in Brisbane, Australia, in front of 55,000 fans.
Then he said he is looking at Keith Thurman and Errol Spence Jr. for his next fight.
Errol Spence Jr. recently won a great fight against Kell Brook over in the UK to win the IBF welterweight belt, and Keith Thurman is the WBC, WBA and WBO welterweight champion.
Jeff Horn was relatively unknown prior to his fight with Pacquiao, though this victory puts his name on the map.
All three fighters are undefeated, Errol Spence Jr. is 22-0, Jeff Horn is 18-0 and Keith Thurman is 29-0. The welterweight division is packed with great fighters, and I am looking forwards to some of the upcoming matches.
Spence Jr. took to Twitter saying he wants the winner of the fight. Danny Garcia also reacted to a Tweet suggesting he fight Horn, asking what people think of that. Well, Jeff Horn has a couple of the top welterweights talking about him now, so we shall see!
Here is a video showing Errol’s Tweet and Jeff naming Spence Jr. and Thurman as two potential opponents he would like to be matched up with:
