Center Project Director, Jim Frogue, Speaks on "Bridging the Gap: Affordable Health Care for New York's Uninsured"
Date: April 29, 2008
Location: New York, NY
Project Director Jim Frogue spoke at the Manhattan Institute’s “Bridging the Gap: Affordable Health Care for New York’s Uninsured,” at the University Club in New York City on April 29th. Frogue participated on a panel entitled, “Innovative Services in Health Care Markets,” with Web Golinkin, the CEO of RediClinic; Kevin Kelleher, the founder Executive Healthcare Services; and Jim Ward, President of Portland, Maine-based Patient Advocates. Frogue’s remarks focused on the new bill that just passed the Georgia legislature and currently awaits Governor Perdue’s signature. It will be a major boost for the individual health insurance market in Georgia and could add up to a third of uninsured Georgians to the ranks of the insured, Frogue noted. There was significant interest among the 100 attendees.
