Sarah Murphy
Member Services Director
Sarah Murphy joined the Gingrich Group in September 2002 and became part of the original team who helped develop and launch the Center for Health Transformation in 2003. Ms. Murphy was also a contributing writer for Saving Lives and Saving Money.
As Director of Member Services, Ms. Murphy keeps abreast of member satisfaction and renewals, manages CHT members and consulting clients, and helps manage internal technology projects.
Having spent over 10 years in the Information Technology industry, Ms. Murphy has a wide range of experience providing management consulting services to government and commercial clients. Her experiences include business development, strategic planning, change management, competitive analysis, business process re-engineering, enterprise transformation, project management, and financial analysis.
Before becoming a member of the Gingrich Group, Ms. Murphy was a senior consultant at C.C. Pace Systems where she spent approximately two years at the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Company (Freddie Mac) assisting with various project management, marketing, and system development activities associated with Loan Prospector, a national credit scoring engine. She also worked as a deputy project manager to the chief technology officer at Shop2u.com (now Exmplar), a start-up direct e-mail marketer, where she constructed process improvement strategies for e-marketing campaigns and internal re-organizations.
As an e-business analyst at IMRglobal (now CGI), her primary focus was on business development activities. She assisted with sales presentations to Fortune 500 companies, performed competitive analyses, created marketing collateral, and assisted with proposal efforts.
Ms. Murphy spent five years at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) and concluded her efforts as a government consultant where she worked on an enterprise transformation effort for the State of Rhode Island and assisted with change management activities for the Immigration and Naturalization Services.
She began her professional career at the Foreign Commercial Service at the Embassy of the United States in Paris, France.
Ms. Murphy earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and French from James Madison University. In 1999, she completed a Graduate Certificate in E-commerce from the University of Virginia’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies. Ms. Murphy resides in the City of Fairfax, Virginia, with her husband, Kevin, and their two children.
