The Missouri Project: Creating a 21st Century Intelligent Health System

The Missouri Project Advisory Board convened for its first meeting on August 27. The goal for the meeting was to identify and prioritize needs and opportunities in Missouri. Chosen as the first three areas of focus for the Missouri Project are:

1. uninsured
2. health disparities
3. obesity and diabetes

The Missouri Project Advisory Board (MO-PAB) will meet on a monthly basis and has established a regularly scheduled meeting time.

Work groups for each of the areas of focus are being formed and will have their first meeting on October 10. At that time, a shared vision, goals, objectives and strategies will be created for each.
