Heather May
Staff Assistant
Heather May joined the Center for Health Transformation in August of 2007 as a Staff Assistant. In this capacity, Ms. May serves as the office liaison and member concierge. Ms. May works closely with the event team to organize member meetings and other in-office functions as well as assisting in the research and data collection for key projects and initiatives.
Ms. May graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in May 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Sociology. Ms. May’s coursework, research, and experience in various clubs throughout college sparked the interest in public policy that led her to work at the Center. Ms. May served as Vice President of Democracy Matters, an organization dedicated to reforming campaign finance through clean elections. While at Virginia Tech Ms. May also worked as a member of the Red Bull Mobile Energy Team where she researched and implemented new and creative ways of marketing Red Bull Energy Drink to the Southwest Virginia community.
Ms. May is a Virginia native and currently resides in Arlington, Virginia.
