Church to Hold Health Care Forum with Ron Bachman

NORCROSS - A local church is offering a nonpartisan look at the health care debate, with a forum held tonight.
The event, scheduled for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Simpsonwood United Methodist Church in the Peachtree Corners community, features Ron Bachman, a man who worked with Ted Kennedy on mental health issues. Now a senior fellow at Newt Gingrich's Center for Health Transformation, Bachman is slated to discuss the contents of several proposed bills and discuss the prospects for reform.
Also on the panel is Dr. Zane Pollard, a pediatric opthamologist at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Glenn Pearson, who is executive vice president of the Georgia Hospital Association, and Gerry Purcell, a national insurance expert.
