Alissa Momberg
Project Assistant
Alissa Momberg joined the Center for Health Transformation as a Project Assistant in March of 2008. In this capacity, she works with the Center’s members and staff to focus on projects in health information technology and expanding coverage to the uninsured.
Prior to joining the Center, Ms. Momberg worked as an associate with The Advisory Board Company, a Washington, DC-based, best-practice research firm with more than 2,600 member hospitals and health systems. Through this role, she managed complex content delivery processes and reported on capacity, productivity and quality figures for the Educational Services department. In addition to her work with The Advisory Board, Ms. Momberg held press internships with the Center for Strategic and International Relations (CSIS), a foreign policy think tank in Washington, DC, as well as HerSports + Fitness magazine, a women’s fitness publication based in St. Petersburg, FL.
Ms. Momberg attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in history. During her time at UF, Ms. Momberg also participated in several campus clubs and organizations, including a directorship with ACCENT, the largest student-run speakers’ bureau in the country. In addition, she was a contributing writer for INsite magazine and a staff member of the University of Florida Recreational Department.
Ms. Momberg is a Florida native and currently resides in Northern Virginia.
