Project Director David Merritt will speak at the American Medical Association’s National Advocacy conference at the Grand Hyatt Washington in Washington, D.C. March 11, 2009. The conference will focus on AMA’s legislative healthcare agenda for the 111th Congress. Ezekiel Emanuel, special adviser of healthcare at the White House Office of Management and Budget, will deliver keynote remarks, after which, Mr. Merritt will participate in a panel discussion on “Health System Reform: Cost” with Stephen Finan, associate director of policy at the American Cancer Society and Maria Ghazal, director of the Public Policy Business Roundtable.
