Expanding Health Coverage: CHT Forum on New, Private Sector Health Insurance Products for Georgians
February 4, 2009 (2 pm - 4 pm)On February 4th, the Center for Health Transformation held an educational forum in Atlanta for health insurance agents, brokers and small employers regarding consumer-directed health plans such as high deductible health plans (HDHP), health savings accounts (HSA) and health reimbursement arrangements (HRA). The program was cosponsored by the Georgia Association of Health Underwriters and the Georgia NFIB Chapter.
Presenters included CHT founder Newt Gingrich, Georgia State Senator Judson Hill, CHT Senior Fellow Ron Bachman, Chris Schubart, Regional Vice President for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia; Todd Slawter, Senior Vice President for Aetna, Inc.; Joe Ochipinti, Regional Vice President for UnitedHealth Care; and Bob Wolfkiel, Market Vice President for Humana.
