Once universally regarded as the finest in the world, healthcare in the United States today ranks in the middle of the pack in quality, below the pack in access and equity, and way above the pack in cost. Yet while America’s leaders have to deal with healthcare in terms of huge numbers- millions of patients, trillions of dollars- every American has to deal with their own health and that of their loved ones on a very personal level. How else will America’s leaders know what to do, unless they hear our own stories, from us, in our own voice?

This event provides our guests an opportunity to speak out, and say how the next President should address healthcare in America these next four years. Our hope is that while we all may not agree today on how to fix healthcare in America, we can all do something about it- which is to be advocates and speak out. We are joined by a panel of activists, political analysts, healthcare experts, and business and government leaders. We will hear from them about healthcare from the communities they represent.
