Center Founder Newt Gingrich and Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal hosted an event on October 22 focusing on improving Louisiana's health and healthcare systems. Both Speaker Gingrich and Gov. Jindal provided opening remarks, followed by a Q&A session. This was then followed by a series of three panels. The first focused on “Designing an Effective and Efficient Health Delivery System in Louisiana.” The second was “Achieving Optimal Health and Wellness for a Productive Louisiana.” The final panel of the day was titled, “A Community Approach to Managing Diabetes and Obesity.”
