Member Meetings
CHT Member Meetings are an important part of membership at the Center for Health Transformation. Our Member Meetings are unique in their focus on solutions and provide an excellent opportunity for networking among our membership. We have four member meetings throughout the course of each year; three member meetings are located in Washington, DC and one meeting typically is hosted outside of Washington. Our members participate in our meetings in a variety of ways: from attending, to showcasing their transforming solutions, to participating on or moderating a panel discussion, to facilitating break-out or small group sessions. For all of our members though, attending a CHT member meeting provides the opportunity to hear what issues, challenges, and solutions are at the forefront of health and healthcare in America and to participate in the dialogue of how to create a 21st Century Intelligent Health System.
Our one-day member meetings typically include opening and overview remarks by Newt Gingrich, an update on CHT activities by our CEO Nancy Desmond, presentations by one or several speakers which might include CHT members, industry leaders, Governors, administration and other government officials, or well-known public speakers, followed often by break-out sessions, roundtable discussions, or reactor panels. Our members have multiple opportunities to network with each other and with the esteemed guests and speakers and to display their own transforming solutions either through featured exhibits or inclusion in the program or program materials. We also host special and unique events for our Charter members at each of these meetings.
